Having the most requested film clip ever was quite a coup for the Telstra Road to Tamworth Winner, Aleyce Simmonds.

The Music Video of Aleyce’s prize winning single, Mighty Mighty Love reached the coveted #1 spot on the CMC chart and made Aleyce the youngest artist and first debut release to ever do so.

Aleyce has spent years honing her singing and songwriting skills and thanks to the Telstra Road to Tamworth, signed a development deal with Sony BMG Music, Australia.

Writing with some of Australia’s finest songwriters has given Aleyce a great insight into what it takes to be a quality writer. She co-wrote Graeme Connors second single from his latest album – Bondwood Boat and has also toured Australia with Graeme, Adam Harvey, Anthony Callea and many more.

In 2008 Aleyce joined forces with Dianna Corcoran and Amber Lawrence to tour the ‘Chic Frontier’ show which proved to be incredibly successful, the girls deciding to continue to tour together throughout 2009, helping Aleyce consolidate a great fan base who eagerly awaited her album, Pieces Of Me, produced by multi award winner Rod McCormack.

The first single The Keeper,   from the debut album  lived up to expectation, being included on Winners 2010 – a compilation of the best releases of 2009 in Australian Country Music and also produced a nomination for Best Female Rising Star at the National Independent CM Awards.

With the full album released in Jan 2011 and officially launched to a sell-out crowd at the Tamworth Country Music Festival, the future holds great promise for this Singer/Songwriter.
